“Do you love me?…Feed my sheep.”

The question comes to Peter, and we understand tha the thrice repeated litany is part of a reversal of Peter’s tripple denial of Jesus at the trial. Even so, I believe there is a word here for us too. Or perhaps a few:

1. If you really love me, show it by loving these who are mine. Pretty simple and straightforward.

2. You won’t have forever to accomplish this, so you’d best get busy.

3. Don’t worry about my plans for someone else, that’s my concern. You just follow me.
